Last year, while on an excursion to Florence with the Faculty of Arts of the RUG, I stumbled across a fountain in the courtyard of the Bargello museum. I was astounded to find out that not many sources had been written on the subject as of yet. The fountain was taken apart and reassembled only quite recently, in 2011.
I wrote an article trying to breach the unwritten gap in time. Sadly, this attempt was not appreciated. My professor gave me a 4/10. This crushed me. I had never been so convinced of the rightness of what I was writing before. It made me temporarily lose my faith in our education system and frustrated at the seeming loss of wonder.
If you’d like to read the article I’ll send it to you. You can send me an email.
